ALSA Pension Fund

The ALSA pension fund was given a new headquarters in Rapperswil, in the immediate vicinity of the railway station and the university.

The architectural concept reflects the company's future-oriented and sustainable philosophy. The investment strategy of many pension funds, including ALSA PK, involves direct investment in building projects. The requirements for the new premises therefore include high quality, sustainable and long-term design with appropriate budgeting. The employees receive a high degree of appreciation from the ergonomic and appealing design of the workplace.

The open floor plan allows the space to be freely subdivided. The open work areas are interspersed with glazed zones containing workstations for one or two employees who require a high degree of quiet or discretion.

The concept is flexible to accommodate future growth of the company, so the technical installations were adaptable and the spaces were planned with maximum flexibility.

Existing attached ceiling elements were removed to create more room height.

The exposed concrete ceiling was fitted with acoustic elements, which not only create optimal room acoustics in terms of building physics, but also zone the work areas.

The lighting also differentiates the various areas of the open space office. Acoustically effective curtains make it possible to visually divide the rooms.

Most of the furniture was custom-made for the client. This not only created aesthetic added value, but even saved costs.

Due to the digital transformation of the company, the storage space in the new office could be reduced in favour of more open space.

A well thought-out colour concept and selected textiles and wallpapers lend a light and natural atmosphere to the working environment, which is located near the waterfront.
