Orthopedic practice Stäfa

The takeover of an existing practice by orthopedist Dr. Michael Kleine was accompanied by a modernization and architectural upgrade of the facility.

The client and architect were in agreement: a well thought-out lighting system as well as a well thought-out material and color concept significantly increase the well-being of patients and employees. Since a large proportion of the patients have limited mobility or age-related medical restrictions, good orientation and threshold-free design are an important part of the planning. Ergonomic aspects were taken into account for the furniture, such as backrests, handles and seat height.

To avoid a prolonged closure of the practice, a tight schedule was put together, with everyone involved working hand in hand. Thus, with a precise budget, a convincing architectural concept was realized in short order, and patients were welcomed back as quickly as possible. This included new wall and floor coverings, a modern lighting concept, the reception area, as well as all practice fixtures, furniture, signaling, and visual and sun protection.

New easy-care surfaces and an overall architectural concept optimize the practice's internal processes.

The translation of the client's design wishes in harmony with the ergonomic aspects of an orthopedic practice as well as professional medical practice planning distinguish the project. The planning of the medical practice included a new office, staff areas, waiting room, practice pharmacy and X-ray room as well as various consulting rooms and therapy rooms for the physiotherapy connected to the practice.
